This assignment/exam is called Documentary. Basically the point of the assignment was to take photos that created a story. For my exam, I went to my cousin Kyanna's Birthday Party. We went to Cobb theater and Red Robins. The point of my assignment was to show how much fun we were having. The party was really fun and I had a great time. Her and her friends didn't expect me to take photos of her at her party, but when they seen me, they acted totally normal and got used to the camera.

This Assignment we had to do is called Decisive Moment. Decisive Moment is basically an off guard type picture where you take a picture at the right moment. For my assignment, I went to a dance competition in Orlando, FL and I took pictures of the team I was with. I didn't really tell the girls I was taking photos of them, I told them I was taking photos of the facility. With that being said while they were dancing, they didn't expect me to take pictures of them but I chose too. As you can see in the photos I took, I caught them at the exact right moment in time. This assignment that we had to do is called Fill Flash. Fill Flash is a photographic technique used to brighten deep shadow areas, typically outdoors on sunny days, though the technique is useful any time the background is significantly brighter than the subject of the photograph, particularly in backlit subjects. Our objective of this assignment was to find a shade filled spot and then set up the flash in a certain spot to make the model pop out in the dark outside. The assignment that we did now is called Multiple Exposure. Multiple Exposure is the superimposition of two or more exposures to create a single image. The exposure may or may not be identical to each other. For my picture, I had Chris sit at the table on each side to make it look like he was talking to himself. When editing a multiple exposure image, you have to make sure whatever you are taking a picture of, it has to be at a certain angle and the same angle for both pictures or one, it depends on what you are taking a picture of. Multiple Exposure taught me that, you can do many pictures but make it into one portrait to give it full effect.
This assignment that we did was to teach us how to do contact sheets. Basically what a contact sheet is mainly a collage with a picture of the same or different people. Each photo represents or shows different emotions to give a meaning to the picture. The picture could represent the person being sad, happy, hungry, angry and anything else the model wants to do.
Our purpose of this project was too show how pictures would look on a background. My method was to have my models take a picture behind a dark background to show when you place embed an image on the background, it would come out better then a light background. Our group took a picture on a dark blue, black curtain, and dark green background. Our method of these photos was too show natural light when taking pictures. The concept was too show how natural light shows up in pictures when taking them outside. It shows the differences between inside pictures and outside pictures together. When it comes to taking natural light portraits, make sure whoever you are taking a picture of, make sure that the person you are taking a picture of (your model basically), is towards the light when you are outside to make give your picture more effect. My first assignment was to demonstrate depth of field manually on my camera. I shot two photographs. I learned when the aperture is open, the depth of field is shallow. when the aperture is closed, the depth of field is deep.
