To ensure the fill flash worked correctly, the settings on the camera and the power of the flash were adjusted to correspond with the environment, position, and model. All pictures were taken outside in some form of shade. The flash was set up on one side of the model in order to cast shadows to the other side. The camera settings were dependent on the model as they had completely different skin tones. Trial and error were used to determine whether the flash and camera were working together to fill the shadows present on the model.
